Company project messaging

Stay connected to your project.

Customers and team members can choose appointment SMS through a company invitation. Optional WhatsApp project messaging requires a separate invitation and must be enabled by your company.

Appointment SMS: +1 (888) 423-9509. Send the JOIN command in your own company invitation from the exact invited phone number.

Your invitation starts the conversation.

Your company prepares appointment SMS instructions in the customer or Team record. WhatsApp project submissions use a separate invitation for invited contractors and crew members. App access also uses its own invitation.

  1. Get a company invitation. For appointment SMS, ask your company for the latest JOIN command prepared for your phone number. It contains a unique 32-character code and expires after 7 days. Preparing a new invitation replaces the previous code.
  2. Read the messaging terms. Review the disclosure below, the Terms of Service, and the Privacy Policy before deciding to enroll.
  3. Send your code from your own phone. For appointment SMS, text your current JOIN command to +1 (888) 423-9509 from the exact invited phone number. For WhatsApp, open the separate WhatsApp invitation link and send its JOIN code from the invited phone. Follow your app invitation separately for app access.

Participation is optional. Visiting this page, giving your company a phone number, or having an invitation created does not enroll you. App, SMS, and WhatsApp invitations do not enroll you in the other channels. There is no public signup code.

What you can send on WhatsApp.

  • NOTE — a progress update for an assigned project.
  • REQUEST — extra work for your company to review.
  • RECEIPT — a description with a receipt photo or document.

In an enabled WhatsApp conversation, send HELP for your permitted project choices. Include the project code when you have more than one assigned project. An acknowledgement confirms the disposition of your submission; it does not approve extra work, change accepted scope, or post an expense.

SMS does not accept NOTE, REQUEST, or RECEIPT submissions. Use your enabled WhatsApp conversation or the app to submit project information.

Help, opt out, or resume.

HELP: Receive instructions for the messaging channel. WhatsApp can also show your permitted project codes. You can contact support@bidpilot.build for assistance.

STOP: Opt out of the channel. Appointment SMS or WhatsApp replies stop after the opt-out confirmation.

START: If you previously stopped appointment SMS, text START to +1 (888) 423-9509, then send the current JOIN command from your invited phone. A valid company invitation is still required. WhatsApp also requires current, verified company and project access.

Contact your company for a new invitation if your code expires, your phone number changes, or your project access changes.

Messaging privacy.

We use your phone number, company and appointment details, consent and opt-out records, message content, and delivery information to verify enrollment and deliver appointment SMS. For separately enabled WhatsApp messaging, we also use project assignments and submitted attachments to route project submissions and replies. Your company can review the project updates you submit.

Mobile information and messaging opt-in data and consent are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Messaging service providers, including Twilio, process information only as needed to deliver and support messaging. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
