Add job material
Upload completion matters: wait until the attachment is ready before asking the estimator to use it.

- Use the attachment control in the estimate conversation.
- Choose the job files.
- Wait for upload completion.
- Tell the estimator what the files contain and what outcome is needed.
- Confirm every quantity before pricing.
Blueprints are context, not verified takeoffs
BidPilot can use visible notes, schedules, labels, and explicitly written quantities from blueprint PDFs as estimating context. It does not currently perform verified plan measurement or automatic blueprint takeoffs. Enter or confirm measured quantities before pricing.
Confirm the AI used the right context
Compare the proposed quantities and scope with the source material. Ask a specific follow-up when a room, measurement, or requirement was missed.
File troubleshooting
If a file does not finish uploading, retry it before sending the instruction. For a persistent problem, report the estimate URL and the visible error.
