Financials

Set your company cost basis

Use Financials to calculate break-even capacity and protect the margin built into estimates.

What Financials calculates

Financials combines working capacity, payroll, burden, owner compensation, and operating expenses into a company cost basis. It is a planning input, not accounting advice.

Enter company capacity

Set the field resources and realistic working capacity that generate billable work.

Add payroll and overhead

Include recurring people costs and operating expenses so break-even reflects the business you actually run.

Review break-even

Review the calculated basis before saving. If the number looks surprising, revisit capacity and cost inputs rather than forcing the output.

Use the result on estimates

An estimate can fetch the current saved company rate when that job should use it.

  1. Open Financials.
  2. Enter working capacity and field resources.
  3. Add owner compensation, payroll, burden, and operating expenses.
  4. Review the calculated break-even basis.
  5. Save.
  6. Fetch the current company rate from an estimate when that estimate should use it.
